Dr. Katsiaryna Aniskovich—known to her clients as Dr. Kat—is a licensed clinical and school psychologist with a strong, diverse background in working with children and adolescents across multiple therapeutic environments. She completed her doctoral degree in School Psychology at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and earned her master’s in Education, specializing in Mental Health Counseling, at Cambridge College. Dr. Kat brings extensive experience from school, outpatient clinics, community-based clinical centers, and residential and group homes, which gives her a broad and adaptable approach to care. She specializes in treating developmental, learning, and behavioral concerns and is dedicated to providing personalized support to each child and adolescent.
Additionally, Dr. Kat works closely with schools across Massachusetts and New Hampshire, offering consultation and assessment services to school teams and students. Dr. Aniskovich is trained in behavioral, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), and trauma-informed cognitive-behavioral (TF-CBT) therapy approaches. Additionally, she is certified in the Attachment, Regulation, and Competency Trauma Treatment for Children and Adolescents (ARC) and Attachment, Regulation, and Competency Trauma Treatment for Parents (ARC GROW) modalities to support families in healing from adverse experiences, fostering resilience, and promoting healthy parent-child connections.
Prior to completing her doctoral degree in School Psychology at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Dr. Aniskovich received graduate school training in career guidance psychology at Belarusian National University and mental health counseling at Cambridge College. During graduate school, she conducted research on the social-emotional curriculum and positive-behavioral support practices available to diverse students. Additionally, she conducted a dissertation assessing students’ and teachers’ perspectives about ways of building school connectedness among Hispanic/Latinx youth.
Dr. Aniskovich completed her pre-doctoral internship in Clinical Psychology at the L.U.K. (Let Us Know) Crisis Center, Inc. in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, where she worked as an outpatient clinician and an evaluator. She offered trauma-informed school-based services for high-needs students, including elementary, middle, and high schools. During her post-doctoral training, Dr. Aniskovich worked in public and charter schools, conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students K-12 from Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Currently, Dr. Aniskovich works as a school psychologist at Needham High School and as a clinical psychologist in her private practice.
